Ob und wann und wie der Klimawandel kommt und wer die Schuld trägt wollen wir nicht diskutieren, das können die Klimaexperten machen. Wir wollen über die wirtschaftlichen Folgen nachdenken und damit über die Chancen, die wir haben. Also stell dir vor, es gäbe Palmen an der Ostsee. Würde das nicht völlig neuen Perspektiven für die Tourismusbranche bringen? Würden nicht auch andere Wirtschaftszweige vom Klimawandel profitieren, wie die Landwirtschaft und die Energiewirtschaft?

When, if and how climate change will come about and whose fault it is, is subject of every discussion among experts – but this time not for us. We want to talk about the economic consequences and about the opportunities, that it might bring. So, imagine palm trees at the Baltic Sea beaches. Would that bring about new perspectives for the tourism industry? And wouldn’t other economic sectors benefit from climate change too, like agriculture and the energy sector?
